Summary:

Responsible for the coordination and implementation of new card programs and setup across various stakeholders including external (card networks and processors) and internal partners (accounting, compliance, and IT). Additional duties include support of the network reporting and maintenance requirements of existing card programs.

Qualifications:

Education:     Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses/Certifications:         None.

Experience:    Three to five years of related card network experience and knowledge of card network regulations. Demonstrated experience in card network program implementation. 

Essential Functions: 

A:        Job Specific:

  • Act as the initial card network contact for compliance requests and coordinate with the Sutton Bank Compliance team to fulfill requests in required timeframes.
  • Support the Sutton Bank Payments team as the card network professional on implementation of new card programs.
  • Ensure appropriate network and account set-up for new card programs. Enforce processes, implementation consistency and compliance with network guidelines.
  • Create and manage the network tasks in new card program plans/timelines to accomplish implementation project goals.
  • Review chargeback processes when new programs are launched. Collaborate with Sutton Bank Compliance team to ensure all processes adhere to network and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the Sutton Bank Payments team as the card network professional for meeting network reporting and maintenance activities.
  • Review the accuracy of card network billing Sutton Bank passes through to program managers.
  • Administer card network information portals to provide access to required Sutton Bank staff.
  • Review chargeback reports with prepaid processors. Coordinate with program managers on disputes and monitor process to ensure compliance with program dispute procedures. Ensure compliance with Sutton Compliance Department procedures regarding Regulation E.
  • Compromised card reporting and coordination with program managers.
  • Maintains updated and current listing of all Sutton bins in each network with each processor.
  • Performs monthly and quarterly reporting for all card networks to determine assessment.
  • Administers network portals, provisions internal staff and program managers (Visa Online, MasterCard, MC Connect, Discover Issuer Portal, and Pin Networks).
  • Routes network communications to program managers when required.
  • Updates program managers on new network rules and alerts.
  • Registers program managers per network requirements.
  • Registers specific program documents prepared by the prepaid team.
